The opposition is accusing the Union Budget of neglecting Uttar Pradesh. Opposition parties say that Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, which played a role in saving the government, have received a large share in the Union Budget, but in the entire budget speech of the Finance Minister, many states including UP, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Punjab were not even named. All opposition parties including Congress, SP, AAP, Trinamool Congress protested in the Parliament premises today alleging neglect of the states.

After the budget, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said, looking at the budget, it seems that the double engine government of BJP is clashing with each other. The BJP government of UP did not ask for anything from the Delhi government in the budget. At the same time, the Center did not even mention UP in the budget. If the Purvanchal Expressway was connected from Ghazipur-Ballia to Buxar, then a complete expressway would have been available from Bhagalpur to Delhi.
Akhilesh said that this is not a budget but a blow. Uttar Pradesh is disappointed with the budget. UP’s hopes from the double engine government have not been fulfilled. Uttar Pradesh, which has produced the Prime Minister, has been discriminated against. If the government has to be formed only by packages, then the India alliance has also prepared packages. At the same time, BSP chief Mayawati said that this budget is more disappointing and less promising for good days for the liberation of the troubled lives of the Bahujans.
Uttar Pradesh got nothing in the budget
UP Congress President Ajay Rai said that UP got nothing in the budget. There is no road map in the budget to deal with problems like youth employment, farmers’ problems and inflation. The budget is nothing but disappointing.
Care of every section in the Union Budget
UP government’s Finance Minister Suresh Khanna says that all the opposition leaders including Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati write their reactions to the budget even before it is presented. These people neither read the budget nor analyze it. The opposition should give up the politics of negativity and adopt a positive attitude. Every section including youth, farmers, poor, employed and businessmen has been taken care of in the budget.
